Mission: 00 -Life on the Line
Timeline: MD01-0100

He should have seen it coming. Anticipated that the unrest would escalate. Korzenten was lucky to have fled Ab-Tzenketh with his life. But to have been able to liberate his ministers as well, that was a miracle.

As the small convoy of ships warped away from the Tzenkethi homeworld, the now former Autarch paced the rear compartment.

He hadn't even worked out what he might say or do when they reached the Federation Border. Nor had he really thought about the ramifications of the Federation seeing a convoy of Tzenkethi ships approaching the border.

Maybe the Federation was more barbaric than was recorded. Perhaps they operate on a fire first ask questions later policy.

The familiar buzz of the communication panel rang out. "Autarch. We've detected three Warships departing Ab-Tzenketh. They are moving on an intercept course."

Korzenten presed the panel. "Increase speed and signal the other ships. Initiate evasive patterns."

The Channel chirped indicating the communication was done.

Korzenten moved to the bridge and crossed to a sensor console. Seated at the station was his former press secretary. "What is the nearest Federation asset?" he asked the Tzenkethi woman.

After few moment of scanning sensors she looked up at the Korzenten."An antiquated station in grid three-three-zero-nine."

"Alter course to grid three-three-zero-nine."Korzenten called out, "and signal the convoy to do the same."
