The sound of the chime at the door to her office was followed shortly after by the whoosh of doors opening and a tall Andorian woman almost stomping into the room.

Completely unperturbed, Tiki had kicked back in her office chair, feet up on the desk, a tall glass in her hand as she sipped slowly at the dark beverage within.

"What is that?" The sheer tone of the Andorian's voice made it clear she wasn't in the mood for whatever was about to come her way.

"Tea?" Tiki replied with a sweet smile as she looked up. "Good morning Captain Sharia, isn't it a gorgeous day? Can I help you with something, or are you just stopping by for a chat?"

"Lieutenant, Exactly what kind of tea is that? I can smell the alcohol from here!"

"The long island kind?" Tiki replied with a nonchalant shrug.

"You can't drink alcohol at this hour of the morning! Especially not on duty!"

Tiki didn't even have to pay close attention to see the vein at the Andorian's temple throbbing with tension.

"I'm not drinking alcohol, it's tea," she replied easily. "Would you like one?"

"Lieutenant Dreik!" The rising voice of the commanding officer resounded off the walls. "Get up, get rid of that drink, and do the job you're meant to be doing or..."

"Or what?" Tiki shot back. "You'll ground me and tell me I can't have dessert for a week? I'm not on duty, I was just saying goodbye to my office. YOU put me in for transfer, remember? We're docking at K17 in less than an hour. So take a chill pill, ice queen. Trust me, I don't want to be here any more than you want me here. Now, kindly get out of my face and leave me finish what I started."

Standing up, Tiki walked around the desk, drink still in hand, brushing by the woman who was about to be her former commanding officer as she headed for the door, pausing just before walking out and turning back to face the Andorian who was staring after her, a look of sheer disbelief on her face. "You know, I'd like to say it's been a pleasure serving with you... but well, my Gram told me that if I'm going to tell a lie, it should at least be believable. So, instead, I leave you with this parting endearment. You, Captain, can bibbity bobbity bite me bitch!"

With a laugh, Tiki spun away, her black hair fanning out behind her as she sashayed through security, heading toward the corridor that would take her back to her quarters.

Reassignment was about to be complete. She had no idea what kind of bastion of hell Deep Space K-17 was going to be, but at least it wasn't going to be here. That in and of itself had to be a good start!

All she had to do was survive the next hour, and given the look on the Captain's face, that may be easier said than done.
